Ferriby win Sporting Moment of the Year Award

The Villagers won the Hull Daily Mail’s Professional Sporting moment of the Year Award at last night’s Sporting Champions ceremony.
ferrriby beat off opposition in the the form of Like Campbell, tommy Coylr and Hull Kingston Rovers to win the award. The award recognises The Villagers success in winning the FA Trophy at wembley in March.
In that game down, Ferriby came back from a a 2-0 defecit to win the game on penalties after extra-time. it was a game that captivated, the crowd and those around the country who were watching or listening to the game.
Co-owner and Joint Chairman Steve Forster commented,
”This is wonderful recognition for the team’s achievement in winning the FA Trophy. It is great to see the Billy Heath, his backroom team and players acknowledged for what was a magnificent achievement that raised the profile not only of the Club, but also of the area as a whole.”
